How Much is a Game Designer’s Salary?Do you know just how much a game designer salary is? They’re saying it’s between $58,000 – $100,000 a year, but what do they know? Many video game designers are making well beyond this, especially those who have ventured into creating their own video game design companies. If you’re looking for video game designer jobs, though, don’t expect them to be plastered all over the Internet. There are some ads for this position, but you can get a better chance approaching each gaming company you can find. Just before you do that, make sure you’ve got some good experience detailed in your resume. Major developers want solid experience, and they want to see and test actual games that you have designed. So to get to the six-figure mark, be patient with low-pay projects, or create something on your own. You’ve got to show them that you’ve been there, done that and that you’re only looking for fresher and more challenging opportunities. Once you prove your point, your dream game designer salary will come around.

Try Searching for Jobs OfflineMost job seekers are not aware that the majority of job openings are never posted online. This fact may be hard to believe as we look at our favorite online job boards such as azstatejobs.gov and we notice new jobs being posted everyday. The bottom line is the average job vacancy is not posted online because companies try to take the inexpensive and more effective route of filling those positions by other means.
It is said that 80% of job openings on any given day are not posted online. So if you look at those statistics in reverse you can state that only 20% of jobs are posted online while the other 80% are not posted online. Job seekers who depend on the internet are missing out on a huge percentage of job openings that they know nothing about. It’s time for candidates to start looking at alternative ways of locating what companies are hiring and spend less time online searching for openings.

I Want a Part Time JobMy husband noticed that I didn’t have my usual pep lately and asked me what was wrong. I was a housewife and I was just getting flat out bored staying home. I wanted to go out and do something useful, so he suggested that I look at different Part Time Retail Jobs in London. I worked in retail in the past and I really enjoyed it a good bit, and I thought the part time would be perfect. It would get me out of the house enough to give me a change of pace, but it wouldn’t take up half of my day for every day of the week either. I looked online and found a few really nice prospects so I applied. I haven’t heard back from any of them yet but it’s only been two days. I will follow up with them next week if I don’t hear back.
