For decades after World War II, America fought the Cold War and Reaganites and many other Americans will tell you that America won.  With the events of the past few weeks, month and year, I question that resolution.  We fought so hard and lost so much in lives and treasure.  For what?  Weren’t we fighting to prevent a government from coming in and taking over public property and running industries?  To all those that gave so much during the Cold War, I am deeply sorry.

Some things are worth fighting for.   Stand Up.
