I have been looking for a new stretch mark cream to use because the one I’m using is not that effective. I read several stretch mark cream reviews on the internet, hoping they could help me determine a particular brand to buy. Their comments were not convincing enough for me; so, I instead looked for articles that explain the active ingredients that effective stretch mark creams have and their actions as well. I’m glad to have found one interesting article to read. It said that there are four good ingredients to look for when buying a stretch mark cream: aloe vera, cocoa butter, DMAE, and glycolic acid. Being more eager to learn, I searched further.

Aloe vera has always been known as a wonder plant as it is very helpful in the body’s healing processes. It has anti-oxidizing, nourishing, and moisturizing effects. Meanwhile, cocoa butter is an active content of many soaps, lotions, and creams because of its softening, whitening, and moisturizing skin effects. DMAE, on the other hand, is an anti-oxidant that reduces wrinkles and skin inflammation. It is also known to promote good skin tone. Lastly, glycolic acid is known to defend the skin from infection.

All these, when used together, can deal with stretch marks effectively. Now, I know what to look for in buying a good remedy for my stretch marks.
